When lash extension newbie Natasha Kundi came to visit...

London Lifestyle blogger Natasha Kundi came in to our Holborn salon to see what all the fuss is about in September 2023. Read on to find out Natasha’s eyelash experience as a lash extension newbie!

“Eyelash Extensions have become a popular beauty trend, offering an easy way to achieve fuller and more alluring lashes. Having recently experienced an eyelash extensions service, I’m pleased to share my thoughts on the transformative effects and overall experience.

From the moment I walked into Balleza Natural at 7 Bell Yard, London, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Rose, the technician was attentive and took the time to discuss my preferences and desired outcome. This initial consultation helped alleviate any concerns I had about the procedure, as well as ensured that my desired style was understood.

The application process itself was surprisingly comfortable. I laid on a comfortable bed, closed my eyes, and the technician worked meticulously to attach individual synthetic lashes to my natural ones. The procedure was painless and surprisingly relaxing, as soft music played in the background. It took around two hours, but the time passed quickly as I drifted in and out of a light nap.

Upon opening my eyes, I was genuinely amazed by the results. The extensions looked incredibly natural, seamlessly blending with my own lashes. They added a subtle yet significant depth to my eyes, making them appear larger and more defined. The best part was that I woke up looking effortlessly put together each morning, saving me time during my daily routine.

The care instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, helping me maintain the extensions’ longevity. I was advised to avoid oil-based makeup removers and excessive rubbing of my eyes. With proper care, my eyelash extensions lasted around three weeks before needing a touch-up.

While the initial cost of eyelash extensions might seem a bit steep, the convenience and confidence boost they provide make them worth it. The maintenance appointments every few weeks do add up in terms of time and money, but for special occasions or those who prioritize a polished appearance, they’re a game-changer.

In conclusion, my experience with Belleza Natural was highly positive. The service not only enhanced my natural beauty but also simplified my daily routine. If you’re looking for a way to achieve stunning, low-maintenance lashes, Belleza Natural Eyelash extensions are definitely worth considering.”

New to the treatment menu… HALF SETS 😍

A half set with brown lash extensions

This is a brown half set we did (brown lashes are great for naturally fairer lashes and keeping things natural)

So, what are half sets?

✨A half set of lashes means having only half the number of lashes compared to a full set. However, this doesn’t mean that the impact of the treatment will be less.

Why half sets?

✨ A half set is a nice alternative to a full set of lashes, achieving a similar effect with fewer lashes. It can enhance the thickness of natural lashes or add length to the outer edge for a more noticeable look.

✨ If you’re new to semi-permanent eyelash extensions and uncertain about the desired fullness or style, a half set is a great starting point. It allows you to become accustomed to the life of lash extensions. Additionally, opting for a half set saves time.

✨ Choosing a half set is an economical choice as it costs significantly less than a full set.

In summary, a half set of lashes is a fantastic introduction to semi-permanent lashes. They are adaptable, time-saving, cost-effective, and definitely worth considering!

Obsessed with eyelashes? How to make them last longer...

Belleza Natural Eyelash Extensions

How incredible your eyelash extensions will look after leaving your treatment is 90% about how you maintain them with lash extension care.

We all know cleaning oils and bacteria off of our eyelash extensions can help them to last weeks longer, yet so many people are afraid just the opposite will happen. Every day I have lash clients tell me that they are afraid to clean their lashes, or that they feel cleaning the lashes actually makes the extensions fall off sooner.

Like anything, confidence is key. I will in detail show you the three easy steps to maintain and clean your lash extensions. You will see that not only do they last weeks longer, they will feel softer, less itchy, and more comfortable overall. Cleaning is so important because our lashes can get bacteria, and even mites if we do not take care of them. It won't matter if your mega volume lashes are on point if you have a stye or eye infection!

Oil is the enemy of lash extensions because it causes the adhesive to soften and clump up. So keeping natural oils from lids and fingers at bay is just as important as using oil free products near the eye area.

You can gently pat dry with a regular towel just be careful not to pull because the lashes can sometimes get caught on towel. Just do a gently pat in this case, or use a blow of the hair dryer on a cool setting.

1. No water for 24 hours. no steam for 48 hours (this includes hot streamy showers or baths). You can have a shower just keep your head out of the water.

2. Avoid getting any products on the lashes that contain oil or glycol as well as saline, or salts.  If you sweat heavily rinse with water or oil free make up after your workout. Same goes for crying.  Try and use eye drops that are saline free, if you are someone who needs eye drops.

3. When removing your eye makeup (liner, shadow, etc.), gently go over the area with a Q Tip instead of placing cotton pads or puffs over your lids—not only could you eventually weaken the extensions and mess them up, the cotton fibers get stuck on lashes. (Not cute). Or use your fingers and clean and rinse in the shower.

4. Use either water or oil free eye make up remover. Baby shampoo works wonders!

5. Brush lashes regularly with a clean mascara wand. Close one eye, place the wand on top of your lashes, then roll the brush over lashes to keep them defined.

6. Resist playing with them. Your eyelashes shed naturally, so when you have extensions, this will help push them off. If an extension looks out of place, avoid playing with it or twisting or pulling it off—you'll risk losing your natural lashes. Let them come out on their own, and use a wand to brush them back into place in the meantime.

Are you guys obsessed with lash extensions like I am ;)
